The ideal candidate must have a passion for games, be able to manage and lead artists, both local and remote. Applicants must also be able to remain positive and work effectively and efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

As a Lead Artist you will be responsible for driving overall concept design and defining artistic style to ensure a highly polished look. You must possess good organizational skills, strong leadership skills, and have demonstrated exceptional technical skills while in a similar role on at least one shipped PC or web game.
Requirements

Demonstrated experience defining the art style and concept for a game
3+ years game industry experience in an artist or lead artist role
A strong portfolio with experience with multiple disciplines i.e. environments, effects, animation, characters, concepting, etc.
Ability to aesthetically coach an in-house team as well as an outsourced team
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with remote team members
Knowledge of game production pipeline

Desired

4-6 years of game industry experience in an artist or lead artist role
Passion for games
Knowledge of the video games industry
Strong ability to prioritize effectively
Positive, team-oriented attitude
